Auraya Announces New ArmorVox Version for Easier Deployment Options and More Powerful Security Performance
Auraya releases ArmorVox Version 17.9.2, featuring a new scoring system, a serverless architecture, AWS CloudFormation scripts, and enhanced security
[SYDNEY, NSW, October 2021] – Auraya, a voice intelligence company, announces today the release of ArmorVox version 17.9.2 which includes new features and updates to security.
Auraya’s ArmorVox technology continues its sustained development with another release as part of the Auraya evergreen software development process of improving the functionality and adding new features to ensure ongoing world leadership. This new version of ArmorVox makes deploying voice biometric solutions even easier and faster. The option of serverless deployments provides integrators with more options and the additional biometric scoring option improves the ability of analysts and other AI systems to be more accurate when monitoring data to detect fraudulent activity.
Version 17.9.2 allows organizations to use logarithm odds scores. This is an additional scoring system that indicates the relative probability of the verification attempt being the true speaker. The score can be chained with other sources of information about the interaction, greatly enhancing the decision-making process. This new scoring system is supported by an updated calibration routine that models the true speaker scores in addition to the imposter score. Overall, it provides decision-makers such as cyber security experts with higher confidence when verifying the identity of the speaker.
In version 17.9.2, ArmorVox also provides an option to be deployed in a serverless architecture based on the AWS Lambda instance. This helps reduce costs and maintenance of traditional servers as well as providing efficient auto-scaling performance.
Another new addition is the ability to use AWS CloudFormation templates for AWS Cloud deployments. ArmorVox load-balanced clusters can now be built seamlessly and quickly using AWS CloudFormation templates which are included with the product. These templates allow for a simpler and frictionless voice biometric capability rollout.
The Auraya team has also made security improvements to the ArmorVox server by allowing for standard HTTP Basic Authentication on APIs and recording the voiceprint creation date.
