If the voice print meets the security standard for that transaction, then the transaction can be approved instantly, and a non-repudiable digital signature retained for that transaction.
The voice biometric data of the individual resides with the organization that offers the service (such as a bank) allowing the organization to identify individuals that may have several different identities. This de-duplication capability provides greater control over potential fraudsters as well as individuals who have multiple non-linked accounts. This helps banks and financial institutions meet regulatory compliance. Voice Biometrics also allows organisations to securely verify customers identities in all channels without the customer needing to disclose personally identifiable biographical data such as name, address, PIN numbers or answers to secret questions.
